Well, I was accepted to another creative team! And again, this designer’s kits are so perfect for my life with the boys so I am really excited to get started! And get started I have.

Digital Designs for Scrapbooking 2: Making Your Own by Renee Pearson is a step-by-step tutorial of simple techniques to creating fabulous papers and elements. You’ll learn to create your own patterns you can use over and over again using simple shapes. You’ll learn to make elements and the book also includes a learning resource cd with templates for basic elements on it. Renee Pearson does an incredible job at making what seems complicated really quite simple and with these techniques. She starts off with the basic and most simple ideas and moves on to more complicated items. Digital Designs for Scrapbooking 2: Making Your Own is a must have book for any would be digital designer.

A print magazine dedicated to digital scrapbooking and only digital scrapbooking. I received a subscription as a Christmas gift, which I asked for, and WOW am I impressed! The magazine is jam packed with great informative tips, techniques, and inspiration! One of the best parts is the reader tutorials, in which regular digi-scrappers, like you and me, submit their favorite easy techniques. Each issue will teach you something new.

The only downside to this magazine is it only comes out 6 times a year, I want one every month. Digital Scrapbooking magazine is well worth the small investment if you really want to master digital scrapbooking and have a constant source of layout inspiration.

Crazy Kids is AmyLeigh Fennell’s brand new, just released kit. It’s bright and cheerful and absolutely perfect for scrapping those fun kid pictures stocked up on your hard drive!

What is a Creative Team? Digi-Scrap designers have creative teams as do digital scrapbooking site. Basically, these people design layouts/pages with the designer’s kits and post them to various online scrapbooking galleries. Seeing finished layouts encourages people to buy the kits you see. It’s marketing digi-scrap style.
